In Park Istra EVS volunteers will work with local population in the areas of sustainable rural development, sustainable tourism, eco farming, volunteering and preservation of cultural and natural heritage. Main goals of our EVS volunteers will be:

– communication with local community (with mentor’s support);

– identification of existing ideas/plans/projects of local population;

– research of international good practices, that could enhance existing ideas/projects of local population;

– active support of chosen ideas/projects (sharing knowledge with locals, coordinating our volunteers to support the ideas/projects, researching and proposing appropriate European funds etc.);

– help with coordination of voluntary activities in Park Istra (Park Istra attracts volunteers from all over the world – there will always be 5 to 15 volunteers in the center).

Europska volonterska služba, popularno nazvana EVS, dio je programa Erasmus+, a omogućuje mladima od 17-30 godina da volontiraju do godine dana u drugoj europskoj zemlji te time steknu neprocjenjivo životno i radno iskustvo. Troškovi puta, boravka (stan, režije i hrana), vize i osiguranja su pokriveni sredstvima projekta, a uz to, volonter dobiva i džeparac na mjesečnoj bazi.
